We take a few minutes in this free yoga video to stretch your hips and move toward hanumanasana. While I make it look easy it took at least a year to get to this point. Be patient with yourself because you can hurt yourself attempting this pose. Find your edge but don't go past it. Suggested props are blocks and a towel and time. Enjoy the process and your practice. It doesn't take long and you'll be doing full splits before you know it! Namste!

Pranayama is one of the 8 limbs of yoga. This free yoga video goes over one of my favorite breathing techniques. These techniques can be used to calm your mind before meditating. It is also calming if done during stressful times in your life. Breath retention can be done anywhere for any duration of time. One minute or thirty minutes it will help you!

Pigeon pose is common in yoga classes. There are variations you can do in a class when they cue pigeon. Many teachers already guide this. But if you are at home and want a little more spice to this pose, This free yoga video will help. Open your quadriceps and back with this variation. The prop tricks make building into the poses easier. It's a short but sweet tutorial full of lots of helpful tips.

Binds can help deepen a practice in any class setting. Sometimes after you have opened your body in poses such as lizard, an individual practitioner will be able to go deeper into a pose than most of the other people in class. This is what people refer to when they consider yoga to be bending your body into pretzels. It is really just going deeper into the pose as your body allows. This is a short tutorial for your lizard pose bind. It is a lot easier than it looks. Most people can access this one early. When they lock the hands they are usually surprised how easy it is. It is a strange feeling but it is mostly core. You can do many variations. But this is something that could spice up your practice even if the teacher does not cue this variation in class. Once the teacher cues lizard, GO FOR IT (as long as your hips are open enough. Thanks and enjoy!
